Lovering runs for St. Scholastica
Former Bemidji High School runner Jessie Lovering helped St. Scholastica place second at Saturday's Campus Quest cross-country meet in Duluth.
The Saints finished with 57 points and trailed UM-Duluth which had 18 points. Lakehead University finished third with 61 points. The University of Wisconsin-Superior was fourth with 120 points and Northland College was fifth with 152 points.
For the second consecutive week Lovering was Scholastica's top runner. She placed fourth overall with a time of 19:24.1 seconds.
The Saints return to action in two weeks at the Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota.
