Longville man dies in Friday accident

A Longville man died in a motor vehicle accident reported at 3:45 p.m. Friday on Cass County Road 11, about 1 mile west of state Highway 84.

According to a press release from the Cass County Sheriff's Office:

Marvin Reynolds, 72, was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by his son, Michael J. Reynolds, 49, of Champlin, Minn.. The pickup left the roadway and overturned. Marvin Reynolds was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Michael Reynolds and another passenger, Elizabeth Reynolds, 70, of Longville, were both transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd by North Ambulance.

The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting with the investigation of the crash.
