Lois was born on June 1, 1932 in Wilkinson Township to Florence (Foster) & Albert Clark, Sr. and lived within a half mile of her birth for the first 74 years of her life, before becoming a resident of care facilities in Bemidji. She attended the Gibson and Carlson country schools, before graduating from Cass Lake in 1950.

Lois married Don Goss on October 22, 1950 and moved across the road where they lived on the Goss family farm in Hart Lake Township. They raised dairy & beef cattle, sheep, had laying hens and grew potatoes, hay & oats. Lois was a hard worker and not afraid to get her hands dirty.

Lois had the most beautiful gardens and yard that were admired by so many family & friends. What started as a gardening hobby, soon led to Goss Greenhouse, which she and Don ran for over 20 years. In addition to farming and gardening, Lois had many special talents; she created beautiful wedding cakes, afghans and sewing projects, and was an amazing cook. Their home was always festively decorated, as she welcomed each holiday occasion. She was truly an animal lover, and had a fondness for Collie dogs and strays. Lois & Don enjoyed going to flea markets and Lois loved to collect antique glassware.

Lois was a member of the Cass Lake United Methodist Church, the Northern Belles Homemaker Club and a Steamboat 4-H Club Leader for many years. But above all, she loved her family and was so proud of her daughters, son-in-laws and grandkids.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Dale) Lembke of Cass Lake and Tammy (David) Lindgren of Laporte, her two granddaughters Mindy (Tom) Simones and Candace (Ryan) Fisher, her grandson, Corey Lindgren, her great granddaughters, Madison & Makenzie Fisher, all of Cass Lake. Also surviving is her brother, Ally Clark of Grand Rapids, her sisters, Connie (Jerry) Fuller of Warba and Muriel (Harlen) Muller of Cass Lake, and sister-in-law, Elaine Clark of Bemidji, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don, in 2003, a brother, Dick Clark and sister-in-law, Gen Clark.
