Lois L. DelMain, 91, of Frazee, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Frazee Care Center in Frazee.
Lois Louise Evans was born to Fred and Mary (Gross) Evans on July 3, 1917 in Height of Land. She married Neville DelMain. They spent most of their lives in Frazee. Lois worked as a cook in the Frazee Public Schools, and also worked for the West Central Turkey Plant in Frazee and the Swift Turkey Plant in Detroit Lakes.
Lois was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she served on the Altar Guild.
Surviving Lois are her two daughters, Judy (Jim) Brennan of Liberty, N.Y., and Faye (Larry) Anderson of Melbourne Beach, Fla.; four sons, Kermit (Judy) DelMain of Cornucopia, Wis., Darrell (Joyce) DelMain of Frazee, David DelMain of Portland, Ore., and Greg (Gloria) DelMain of Minnetrista, Minn.; along with 18 grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding Lois in death were her husband, Neville; two brothers, Fritz and Edward Evans; and four sisters, Marge Cady, Ruby Green, Jo Graham and Avis Schowe.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 15 at the Furey Funeral Home in Frazee, followed by a 5 p.m. prayer service. There will also be visitation for one hour prior to Monday's services at the church.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, March 16 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Frazee, with the Rev. William Aufdenkamp officiating. Burial will follow the services at Lakeside Cemetery in Frazee.
The Furey Funeral Home in Frazee was entrusted with arrangements.
