Local nonprofit directors honored

BEMIDJI – Community Resource Connections awarded two local nonprofit directors for outstanding board service.

CRC recently honored Geri Hickerson, executive director of Northwoods Habitat for Humanity, and Jeanne Edevold Larson, executive director of Northern Dental Access Center.
Hickerson has served for eight years on the CRC board and reached term limits established in the organization’s bylaws.
Edevold Larson is finishing her sixth year as chairperson and has committed to stay for another two years.
CRC is an organization dedicated to supporting nonprofits by facilitating networking opportunities, linking service providers to the community, coordinating multi-agency projects, and serving as a centralized informational resource.
