Minnesota State Trooper Sgt. Jesse Grabow, was recently awarded a life saving award for rescuing a woman from a vehicle in danger of being submerged in a lake near Alexandria in November. At approximately 2:20 p.m. on Nov. 10, Sgt. Jesse Grabow witnessed a vehicle leave westbound I-94 near Alexandria and enter Lake Latoka. The vehicle was in danger of becoming submerged with the lone female driver still inside. Trooper Chris Halder, who was a short distance from the scene, responded to help Grabow get the driver out of the vehicle before it sank below the surface of the water.
