Library after-school programs set
BEMIDJI – The Bemidji Public Library will offer four after-school enrichment programs for elementary school-aged children beginning Oct. 4. The theme of the programs will be “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Earth Care Through Games, Art, Crafts and Reading.”
The Oct. 4 program, “Upcycled Quilt,” will focus on the three R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle), with a children’s book reading. The Oct. 11 program, “Upcycled Craft,” will again focus on the 3 R’s and will incorporate several crafts and a reading.
“Freddie the Fish and Pollution” will be the program on Oct. 25. It will focus on water quality. The Nov. 1 program, “Incredible Journey,” will also focus on water quality.
