Lettter To The Editor - Reader prefers an approachable school board
To the editor:
After reading the last two issues of The American, I'm surprised Mr. Hentges has the time to attend small town meetings.
It sounds like he should be a CEO for Marvin Windows -- no, too much like one big happy family for him or he could be presenting seminars on "How to Run Your Business."
The place he should really be applying his expertise is at the Capitol where the financial mess for school funding started. We've seen how efficient they operate down there. he could take his ideology, personal agenda and vendetta with him.
I prefer board members and administrators who are approachable by both community and staff, who work together to make the school a focal point of our community.
