Letter: Some normalcy in the midst of polar vortex
Due to several weeks of adverse temperatures, my lifestyle became “couch potato.” However, the tough edge of the polar vortex was softened in many ways.
My postal carrier delivered the mail without a hitch. Several times police, sheriff or fire vehicles traveled the street on a rescue mission. Every dark, cold morning the Bemidji Pioneer was in my paper box.
Heaps of thanks to all folks who helped maintain normalcy.
