Letter: Rubber-stamping politicians demean Congress
The passage of Obamacare (also known as the Affordable Care Act) is a violation of the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution Article 1 Section 1 is as follows: All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and a House of Representatives.
No one in Congress was allowed to even read let alone discuss and debate this bill before it was voted on and passed. Yet every single Democrat in Congress voted to approve this bill. This is a clear violation of their oath of office where they are to uphold the Constitution of the United States.
Rubber-stamping politicians belong in third world countries but surely not in the United States of America. Every one of those rubber-stamp politicians should be sent home ashamed of the part they played in demeaning the Congress of the United States while in office.Lyle DelaneyBlackduck
