League of Women Voters sets forums

BEMIDJI – The League of Women Voters Bemidji will sponsor candidate forums this month.

The public is invited to attend and submit written questions to the candidates.

Candidates for Beltrami County Commission and Bemidji Area School District will have a forum Oct. 16.

Candidates for Bemidji’s mayoral seat and city council will have a forum Oct. 18.

Both forums will begin at 7 p.m. in Bemidji City Hall.

Roy Blackwood will moderate the discussion, which will be televised by Channel 2.
