Lake Bemidji State Park hosts February programs

BEMIDJI – The Lake Be-midji State Park is hosting the following events this month:

- Berrrrmidji Kids Can Ice Fish, 1-3:30 p.m. Monday. Kids ages 8-15. During Take-A-Kid-Fishing weekend, par-ticipants 18 and older do not need a license if bringing a child younger than 16 to the event.

- Candlelight Ski Tour/Snowshoe Walk, 6-9 p.m. Feb. 23. Includes 5K trail, musical entertainment and refreshments. A limited number of snowshoes will be available to rent.

- I Can Ice Fish! 202 - Using a Tip-up, 1-4 p.m. Feb. 23. Participants must provide their own equipment. Registration required by Feb. 18.

- Snowshoeing for Fun, 1:30-3 p.m. Feb. 28. Snow-shoes are available in the park office.

All of the events begin at the Visitor Center in the Lake Bemidji State Park.
