Knife River Materials has donated $5,000 to the North Country Health Services Foundation's current project, Excellence in Healthcare.

The donation qualifies Knife River Materials for membership in the NCHS Foundation's Business Investors in Health Club, which was created by the foundation's Business Relations Committee. Community businesses and organizations join by donating $1,000 or more to the foundation to support local health care needs.

The Excellence in Healthcare package includes GeneXpert System lab equipment, Bedside Medication Verification, Same Day Surgery TVs, indoor and outdoor healing gardens, waiting area Internet kiosks, 12 patient room renovations and spoken menu technology for hospital patients.
