WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., featured breakfast pastries from a Bemidji bakery at a weekly Washington meeting.

Baked goods from Raphael’s Bakery and Cafe were the item du jour at the latest “Minnesota Morning” meeting March 6 hosted by Klobuchar in which visiting Minnesotans can mingle with the senator and get an update on her activities.

“Raphael’s is a great example of an authentic Minnesota small business that shares in the success of our local communities,” Klobuchar said in a release Tuesday. “I was happy to bring this taste of Bemidji to my guests at ‘Minnesota Morning.’”
