The theme was “i-kind” and focused on teaching students to be kind to themselves and others. Students participated in activities that encouraged self-motivation and taking care of themselves.

Students participated in an essay/poster contest, random acts of kindness, and giving kindness-grams.

They also pledged their kindness, collected pennies for Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue Shelter, and donated clothing and non-perishable food items.

In total, 1,257 kindness-grams were sold and delivered. Proceeds from selling kindness-grams and the penny drive collection will be donated to Rosie’s Rescue. So far, students have raised more than $600. Pennies will be collected throughout February.
