Kennedy man dies in pickup rollover

A 68-year-old Kennedy, Minn., man was killed late on Christmas after the pickup truck he was driving rolled on U.S. Highway 75.

Bruce Eschler was driving north on Highway 75 when his pickup crossed the southbound lane, went into the west ditch and struck an embankment.

The vehicle went airborne and rolled, according to the Minnesota State Patrol, which received a call about the crash at 9:22 p.m. Sunday.

Eschler was taken to a hospital in Hallock, where he was pronounced dead.

Kennedy is in northwest Minnesota's Kittson County.
