Karen Lee Norwick, 50, of Bemidji, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home in Bemidji with Carol Campbell officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Honorary urn bearers will be Ruth Garner, Julie Souder and Beth Kleeb.
She was born June 11, 1958, to Harold and Patricia (Short) Norwick in Ottawa, Ill. She graduated from Bemidji High School in 1976. After graduation, she attended Bemidji State University for four years. She went to work at Control Data in Bemidji. She then raised three daughters and worked at various jobs around the Bemidji area.
She enjoyed reading, creating art, crossword puzzles, writing short stories and spending time with her daughters, grandson and family.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Norwick, Kristine Norwick and Jessica Norwick, all of Bemidji; a brother, Dan Norwick of Bemidji, and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
