JPB to meet Wednesday night

The Greater Bemidji Area Joint Planning Board will convene for its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. at Bemidji City Hall.

The agenda includes discussion and consideration of the following:

E A rezone request from Bob Whelan to change the zoning for a parcel on Justice Road Northwest in Northern Township. He is requesting the zoning be changed from low-density commercial multiple family.

E Upper Mississippi Mental Health is seeking an interim use permit that would allow it to offer mental health counseling at 505 Bemidji Ave. N.

E Paul Yule is requesting an interim use permit to operate an animal grooming and dog day care at 196 Anne St. NW, which is in a low-density commercial zone.

E Ross Pederson is requesting an interim use permit for 1605 Paul Bunyan Drive NW to operate a used-car lot. The location is in a general commercial zone.

E Changes are proposed to the overall zoning and subdivision ordinance.
