John Daniel Mueller, 66, of rural Nevis, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 at Mayo Methodist Hospital in Rochester.
He was born on Sept. 10, 1942 at Credit River Township to Christopher and Agnes Virginia (Murphy) Mueller. He graduated from Prior Lake High School and lived in Prior Lake until November 2004. He was employed by Cargill Corp., Cardinal Drywall, and retired from Kraus-Anderson Construction Co. as a project supervisor in November 2004.
He married Norrine Lee Dingman on Nov. 25, 1967 in St. Paul. They lived near Nevis since his retirement in 2004. He was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Prior Lake. He was a member of the Orchard Lake Sportmans Club and Ducks Unlimited, where he received a special award for serving 14 years as the Lakeville chapter secretary and treasurer.
He is survived by his wife; sisters Rose (Jack) Frazer, of Outing, Linda Mueller, of Rosemount; a brother, Jerry (Lynnae), of Prior Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Elizabeth; a nephew, Danny; and a niece, Annie.
Honorary casket bearers: Tim Meyer, John Roehl, Ken Leinen, Steve Millard, Don Klingberg, Gary Meyer, David Tupy and Jim Heathington.
Memorial service: Thursday, March 5 at Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Nevis with Pastor A.J. Kluver as officiant.
