Jenkins' success at the Vandersluis began in 2002 when he claimed his first championship. He duplicated that feat in 2005 and also won the titles in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2013.

This weekend Jenkins took the lead after the first 18 holes when he shot Saturday's low round of 71. On Sunday he was the lone golfer the break par as he shot 3-under-par 69. Jenkins took a 5-shot lead into Monday's final 18 holes and he preserved his title by shooting even-par 72 and finishing the weekend at 212.
