Jefferson Lines to relocate locally
Effective Feb. 1, Jefferson Lines bus service will relocate its agency to the Paul Bunyan Transit facility, 706 Railroad St. S.E.
The relocation is part of a Jefferson Lines and Minnesota Department of Transportation transit plan to make local and intercity transit more accessible to communities in Minnesota. This cooperative initiative with Paul Bunyan Transit will help passengers access bus transportation at or near their homes in Bemidji and travel to thousands of destinations across the United States through a national intercity bus transportation network.
Jefferson Lines offers service from Bemidji to Grand Forks and Minneapolis three days per week and service to Fargo six days per week.
Jefferson Lines and Jefferson Tours are operated by Jefferson Partners L.P., a Minneapolis-based family company with roots extending to the early days of motor coach travel. Jefferson operates a fleet of modern coaches in passenger and express scheduled service, as well as charter and tour and package delivery services. Routes extend from Minneapolis to Wichita Falls, Texas, serving 11 states in the heartland of the United States. Jefferson's charter operation is located in Minneapolis, offering motor coach charters, group tours and convention services in the upper Midwest.
