James E. Jader, 78, of Frazee, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Frazee Care Center in Frazee.
James Edwin Jader was born Sept. 29, 1930 in Minneapolis. He was raised in the Mound-Minnetonka area and graduated from Breck Academy. He attended the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He served in the Korean Conflict as a medic. If you were to ask "Jimmy" what his best traits were, he would have replied, "I'm a Jack of all trades!"
James is survived by his five children, Jon A. Jader of the Twin Cities metropolitan area, Janell J. Iverson of north central Iowa, Andrew Donovan of Detroit Lakes, Tanya Donovan of the Fargo-Moorhead area, Joel K. (Kathleen) Jader of Pequot Lakes, Minn., and Joy N. (Paul) Watkins of Delores, Colo., and Jere Jader of Detroit Lakes; his sister, Chrissy (Peter) Tisserat and their two children; as well as six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Frazee Care Center. Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Furey Funeral Home in Frazee.
