Carey Woods scored 22 points Tuesday to lead the Bemidji boys basketball team to a 67-53 win over Chisago Lakes and into tonight's championship game of the Chisago Lakes Invitational.

BHS will meet North St. Paul in today's 7:45 p.m. title game. In Tuesday's semifinal North St. Paul stopped Highland Park.

Woods connected on nine field goals, four of them from 3-point land. Joining him in double figures were Ryan Rude with 16 and Cody Rutledge with 14.

Bemidji (6-0) led only 26-25 at intermission but its offense dominated the action in the final 18 minutes as the Jacks outscored Chisago Lakes 41-28.

The home team had only one offensive threat, Ben Figini, who scored 22 points.

Bemidji's junior varsity will also face North St. Paul in today's 4:30 p.m. championship contest. Tuesday the Jacks JV stopped Chisago Lakes 62-59. J.C. Cervenka led the offense with 16 points.
