Jack A. Andrews, 53, of Bemidji, MN died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. Memorial services will be at 11:30 am, Thursday, March 20th at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service with Candy Roberts-Salter officiating.

Jack Andrews was born July 15, 1960 in Grand Rapids, MN to Jack C and Mary (Staley) Andrews. Jack grew up in Coleraine, MN, graduated from Greenway High School in 1978, and attended ICC. Jack married Tricia Eichholz July 7, 1979 in Grand Rapids, MN. Jack served in the United States Army 1981-1984, and lived in Casper, WY, Grand Rapids, MN and Manhattan, KS before moving to Bemidji in 1990.

A sportsman, Jack loved many sports, whether playing, watching, or playing fantasy football and Strat-O-Matic Baseball. He loved grouse hunting, traveling, camping and sharing a good campfire. He loved all kinds of music from classical to rock. Jack enjoyed concerts and attending Moondance Jam. He enjoyed following and commenting on the political scene. A voracious reader and versed of many topics, you would never beat him in trivia. More than anything he loved being home with Tricia.

Jack will be missed by his father Jack, his wife Tricia, his children Elizabeth (Keith Johnson) Andrews, Bemidji, Jacia (Wayne) Bruns, Mendota Heights, and Luke Andrews, Bemidji, grandsons Jacob and Benjamin Bruns, sister Barbra Andrews, Coleraine, brothers Darrell (Rose) Andrews, St. Cloud, Don (Becky) Andrews, Circle Pines, sisters-in-law Laura (Lonnie) Bigo, Nashwauk, Karen Eichholz, Nashwauk, brothers-in-law Greg Eichholz, Hibbing, Doug Eichholz, Chisholm, David (Kitty) Eichholz, North Branch, mother-in-law Geraldine (Louis) Collyard, uncles Martin (Jan) Staley, Philip (Joyce) Staley, aunts Marie Staley, Joyce (Wayne) Johnson, Lorraine Andrews, and many beloved cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother Mary, grandparents, father-in-law Charles (Bud) Eichholz, and uncles Don Andrews, Jim Andrews, Alan Staley and aunt Marilyn Kritz.
