Irene O. "Rinkey" Gravem, 83, of Bemidji, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Havenwood Care Center in Bemidji.
A memorial service will be at the Isanti Baptist Church in Isanti, Minn., at a later date. She will be buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery with her husband and son, Bert.
The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji assisted the family with arrangements.
She was born on July 6, 1925, to Bryon and Olive (Hines) Wentworth. She grew up in rural Turtle River. She attended a rural grade school and later, Sathre Business College and Modeling School in Minneapolis. She met and married Charles Gravem in Rochester. They moved to Minneapolis, where they were employed. They moved to Harris, Minn., where they raised their two sons, Charles Bertrum (Bert) and Gary Victor. She was a member of the Church of Christ T.L. She enjoyed games shows, classical music, bingo and rummage sale shopping. In later years, she moved to the Bemidji area where she lived with her sister, Kathryn.
She is survived by her sisters, Kathryn Erion and Vivian Wentworth and two grandchildren.
