Information needed on flood damage
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
9:07 a.m. Tuesday, Heartland Auto Sales. A burglary was reported.
6:38 p.m. Monday, 800 block of 26th Street Northwest. A person was reportedly assault by a boy and was bleeding from the mouth.
6:42 p.m. Tuesday, 700 block of Miles Avenue Southeast. A bike, described as older and rusty, was stolen.
1:52 p.m. Tuesday, Power Dam Road Northeast and Canoe Lane Northeast. A possible stolen trailer and snowmobile were located.
12:27 a.m. Tuesday, 900 block of 30th Street Northwest.
4:52 p.m. Tuesday, 700 block of 30th Street Northwest.
6:20 a.m. Tuesday, 900 block of Fourth Street Southeast.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Motor vehicle theft
2:36 p.m. Monday, Pinto Lane Northwest. A 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen, as were a hutch, king's chair, cedar chest and flat-screen TV.
9:11 p.m. Monday, Van Buren Avenue Southeast. Stolen were 450 feet of electrical cords, two boxes of outside wiring and seven batteries.
Gas drive-off theft
4:10 p.m. Tuesday, 8000 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest.
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
1:39 p.m. Monday, 2400 block of Calihan Avenue Northeast. Medical call.
6:40 p.m. Monday, 800 block of 26th Street Northwest. Medical call.
2:41 a.m. Tuesday, Second Street Northwest and Minnesota Avenue Northwest. Medical call.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Emergency Management Office asks that all cities and townships send, as soon as possible, any costs incurred for repairing roads damaged by high water this year including the amount spent for gravel, rock, culverts, etc. as well as the hours spent by each and every person providing those services.
The office is also asking for an estimate of future repairs as a result of the damage to Beltrami county roads only. The information is needed immediately in order to file for FEMA reimbursement as compensation.
