Ima Mary Bobolink, 89, of Battle Point, Minn., died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Evergreen Terrace Nursing Home in Grand Rapids, Minn.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Sugar Point Community Center. A visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. today and continue until the time of the services. Burial will be at a later date in the Battle Point Cemetery.
Dennis Funeral Home of Walker assisted the family with arrangements.
She was born Dec. 30, 1919, to Frank and Emma (Partial) White in Battle Point. She lived in Battle Point and Bena until two years ago when she moved to Evergreen Terrace. She married William, and they had five children. She worked at a local resort and cooked for the Elderly Nutrition Program. She enjoyed flower gardening, braiding rugs and bingo.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Bobolink; daughters, Gloria (Duane) Beaudreau, Marian Bobolink, JoAnn (Donald) Staples and Mary Ann (Arno Dick) Bobolink; a special daughter, Caroline Monroe; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and a sister, Agnes White.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Evelyn Mitchell and Lucy Ryan and brothers, William White, Clarence White and Benjamin White.
