BEMIDJI - This weekend's Paul Bunyan Playhouse performances of "The Magical Pied Piper" were rescheduled after several actors developed flu-like symptoms.

"We had hoped to get the show up and running" for Saturday's and Sunday's performances, said Ernie Rall, president of the Bemidji Community Theater, in a news release. "Unfortunately, we still have too many actors dealing with various stages of flu-like symptoms."

Shows have been rescheduled for next weekend, with performances at 7:30 p.m. April 21, 2 p.m. April 22 and 7:30 p.m. April 23 in the Historic Chief Theatre in downtown Bemidji.

"The tickets you have already purchased can be exchanged at the box office for one of these performances," Rall said. "If you can not make one of next week's performances, you may get a refund at the box office."

The box office will be open two hours before show times.

The show is a collaborative effort between Bemidji Community Theater and the Paul Bunyan Playhouse.
