IDEA competition deadline approaching

BEMIDJI – The deadline to enter this year’s Ingenuity Drives Entrepreneur Acceleration (IDEA) Competition is Nov. 30 (mailed applications must be postmarked by this date).

Those who turn in applications by Nov. 15 pay a discounted application fee.

The purpose of the competition is to assist area entrepreneurs in the commercialization of innovative products. Past winners have used the $10,000 cash prizes for product engineering, patent filing costs, market feasibility studies and website development, among other costs.
