Ice response exercise scheduled

An ice response exercise will take place 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, on Lake Bemidji.

The Lakes Area Dive Team will be practicing ice rescue response.

Emergency crews are telling the public so that those driving by do not mistake it for an actual emergency.

The Dive Team routinely conducts these exercises.

There may be other emergency vehicles on scene if time permits.
