Alvin E. Hymes of Bemidji and Shien Yuin Yong of Johor Bahru, Malaysia, were married Sunday, June 7, in Johor Bahru.

The ceremony and reception were held at the Star Hill Golf and Country Club.

The couple will reside in Singapore.
