Deniger was arrested late Wednesday night in St. Cloud, Minn., in connection with the apparent stabbing death of his 52-year-old wife, Kathye Deniger. Authorities say they used credit cards to track and locate Deniger.

An autopsy was scheduled Thursday. Preliminary results are expected within two days.
