Hunt re-ups with Canucks affiliate
CHICAGO -- The American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves Wednesday announced it had resigned former Bemidji State defenseman Brad Hunt.
In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hunt, Bemidji State's top-scoring defenseman of all time, originally inked a professional Amateur Tryout Contract with the Wolves, the AHL affiliate of Hunt's hometown Vancouver Canucks, March 14 following the completion of his senior season at Bemidji State.
In 14 regular season games with the Wolves, Hunt piled up five points (1g-4a), and the rookie led all Chicago defensemen and ranked fourth on the team with four points (1g-3a) in five Calder Cup playoff appearances.
Hunt led BSU with 21 assists last season and scored 26 points as a senior.
He collected his 100th collegiate point in December of 2011, one of only seven BSU players to reach the milestone in the Division I era.
