BEMIDJI -- The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying a motor vehicle theft suspect.

The theft occurred at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Nevis. According to authorities, a man was observed on security cameras making purchases inside Northwinds Grocery store and Nevis Municipal Liquor store. The man then walked from the liquor store and stole a Dodge Dakota extended cab pickup parked nearby. The truck has since been recovered, but the suspect remains at large.

The man is described as 35- to 45-years-old, 5'10 to 6'2 in height with a medium build of about 175 lbs with a dark-colored goatee. He was wearing a camo-colored, brimmed fishing hat, a long sleeve, blue plaid shirt, light colored blue jeans and dark boots.
