Hubbard County reports fatal one-vehicle accident

Hubbard County Sheriff Cory Aukes reported today that at approximately 9:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office received a report of a vehicle in the ditch on County Road 24, near County Road 7, in Lake Emma Township.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found a 1993 Ford passenger car located at the bottom of a very steep ditch. Inside the vehicle they found one male occupant, who appeared to be unresponsive. North Ambulance and the Nevis Fire Department arrived on the scene and assisted in removing the individual from the vehicle. Dale Junior Breitweser, 20, of Nevis, was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

This case remains under investigation by the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office.
