Hubbard County court report for March 15
In Hubbard County District Court:
Robert Jay D. Hamblin, 32, of Nevis, was charged with felony third-degree assault and misdemeanor domestic assault in connection with an incident Jan. 23 in which he allegedly picked up a child, threw the child into a door and broke the child's arm. The child also reported being spanked by a leather belt.
Scott Michael Kolesar, 49, of Park Rapids, was charged with gross misdemeanor second-degree DUI, gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation, misdemeanor failure to produce proof of insurance and misdemeanor open bottle in connection with a traffic arrest Feb. 21.
David Jerome Anderson, 35, of Fargo, N.D., was charged with two counts of gross misdemeanor second-degree DUI, misdemeanor driving after suspension and misdemeanor no proof of insurance after being arrested on suspicion of drunken driving Feb. 24. The criminal complaint states he was previously convicted of DWI in 2005 and had an Implied Consent violation in 2000.
Kaitlin Fay Connolly, 23, of Cass Lake, was charged with gross misdemeanor writing two checks to a service provider without sufficient funds in the account in June 2008.
