Hospice volunteers honored

Honored for 25 years of volunteer work for the North Country Hospice Program were five women, each receiving a plaque reading "Group Volunteer of the Year." The awards were made at a special coffee event honoring them Monday and held at the Bemidji Office of Hospice. The recipients are, front row from left, Mary Melchior, Judy Lee, Elaine Christiansen, Margaret Griebel and Pat Lindseth.
