Hoeven says diversion project set for Senate floor

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota Sen. John Hoeven says he expects a funding bill that includes a Red River flood diversion project to reach the Senate floor in April or May.

Hoeven was in Fargo Monday at a meeting of federal, state and local officials who are making plans to protect Fargo and Cass County against spring flooding along the Red River and its tributaries.
