History of Logging Days at the Buena Vista Logging Village
Logging Days was first organized in 1983 by Earle and Leonard Dickingson and Ben Rajala “to honor and preserve the heritage of lumberjacks and early logging in Minnesota.”
The Dickinson family, with help from many volunteers, continues to follow the late Earle Dickinson’s legacy to keep the midwinter celebration alive.
