Hillcrest Road NE closed for repair

Hillcrest Road Northeast, located in Port Hope Township, west of Gull Lake Loop Road northeast (County Road 23, which is north of U.S. Highway 71/Turtle River) is closed for the next to three days to update and repair a road in the area of the 8000 block of Hillcrest Drive Northeast, according to a news release from the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office. The township is responsible for the road repair.
Drivers are advised to use caution in the area. Emergency vehicles will have access if necessary. A local resident has also created an access road that can be used if needed.
