High school volleyball: All-Stars coming to BSU
The fourth annual North Central High School Volleyball All Star Games will be held on Saturday at Bemidji State University Gymnasium.
63 of the top volleyball players in the north central region of the state will be competing in two matches.
Doors open for spectators at 10 a.m, with the introduction of all teams and coaches at 10:50 a.m.
The match times will be at 11:05 a.m., noon, and 12:55 p.m. with two courts being played at each time and includes two games to 30 points.
Admission will be taken at the door and is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Game day programs are available for $1.
Concessions will also be available.
"We are excited for the athletes and fans of volleyball that are involved in the annual all star game at BSU," said Event Co-Director Dan Ninham. "We have six teams and expect a fun day."
The all star games have drawn over 500 fans the past few years including many college coaches looking for top talent playing other top talent in the north country. The events are held a week after the state tournament and features juniors and seniors.
