High School Track: Huschle shines at Hamline Elite Meet
Analisa Huschle of Bagley/Fosston continued her dominance of the state track and field scene Friday at the Hamline Elite Meet in St. Paul.
She won the 200 in 25.43 seconds, the long jump with a distance 17-11 and the triple jump with a distance 37-2.75.
Huschle also anchored Bagley-Fosston's 4x200 relay unit which finished ninth. Emily Julin, Courtney Cosca, Kyli Day and Huschle combined for a time of 1:51.40.
The Bemidji track and field teams also competed.
In the girls division, Bailey Drewes finished 15th in the 1600 with a time of 5:28.04. Becca Dyson of Roseville won the event in 5:03.49.
Alex Schoneberger and the 4x800 relay team represented BHS in the boys division. Schoneberger was seventh in the 800, completing the race in 1:01.42. Sam Miner of Winona finished first in 1:55.10.
Bemidji's 4x800 relay team of Matt Lee, Jake Urban, John Buckanaga and Schoneberger placed sixth in 8:12.52. Buffalo won the race in 8:03.31.
