Bemidji's Rylee Curb ended his high school soccer career in style Wednesday night, gaining an assist on the lone goal of the game as the Class A stars defeated the Class AA stars 1-0 at the Metrodome.
In the girls game, Class AA won a 4-0 decision over the small school stars.
Ben Royce of Simley was the recipient of the Curb feed in the first half to score the game's only goal.
"He was very much at home in that atmosphere," said Coach Rick Toward. "He found out he can play with the state's best. I feel the Class A team lost something when he was off the field."
Curb is still considering his options for college but could advance to a spot in Division II or III soccer, perhaps joining former teammate Andy Iverson at Concordia.
But he also may consider offers for either hockey or golf, two other sports in which he should star this winter.
He leaves with the Bemidji single season goal scoring mark (28).career goals (54) and the career point total record (74).
