High School Basketball: Cass Lake-Bena completes fifth straight unbeaten season at home, coach Ninham picks up 250th career win

Cass Lake-Bena and Northome/Kelliher were winners in boys basketball games Thursday night.

Cass Lake-Bena defeated Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 103-85 at home and had three players post double-doubles. Martin Wind had 32 points and 17 assists, Tyler Trosen had 26 points and 16 rebounds, and Ben Cameron had 14 points and 15 rebounds.

CLB (22-4) completed the season unbeaten at home and extended its home unbeaten streak to five years - a stretch now spanning 51 games.

CLB head coach Dan Ninham also recorded his 250th win as a head coach. In 12 seasons, Ninham holds a career coaching record 250-85.

N/K defeated Laporte 76-35. Charlie Shuh led the Mustangs with 30 points, Alex Gehlert had 11 points and Dalton Lindley added 10.

Claeb Nelson had 11 points and Mike McGinnis had 10 points to lead Laporte.
