High School basketball: Cameron, Trosen, Wind lead Cass Lake-Bena over Menahga
Cass Lake-Bena 76, Menahga 67
MENAHGA - The Cass Lake-Bena boys basketball team won its second game in a row Tuesday night with a 76-67 victory over Menahga.
The Panthers were led by the trio of Ben Cameron, Tyler Trosen and Martin Wind.
Cameron finished with a team-high 24 points and Martin Wind had 20 points.
Tyler Trosen had a strong night on both ends of the floor and finished with 21 points and 20 rebounds.
Cass Lake-Bena improved its record to 5-1 this season in the final game of 2009.
The Panthers return to the court Jan. 2 at Cass Lake-Bena High School and will host Devils Lake (N.D.) at 7:30 p.m.
Clearbrook-G 67, Bagley 29
CLEARBROOK - Brooke Wraa scored 22 points to lead the Clearbrook-Gonvick girls basketball team over Bagley Tuesday night.
Whitney Rogstad added 13 points for the Bears.
Bagley was led by Kari Skersick's 12 points.
Clearbrook-Gonvick led the game 34-15 at half.
