Dr. Richard and Dianne (Trom) Hanson of Bemidji are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner with their three daughters: Liann (Marty) of Belle Plaine, Minn.; Jessica (Damion) of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Jana (Kevin) of Tiffin, Iowa. They also have one granddaughter, Cora. The couple was married on December 30, 1972 in Fargo, N.D.
Dr. Hanson is president of Bemidji State University and Mrs. Hanson is retired.
