Halloween DWI enforcement

ST. PAUL – Minnesota State Patrol troopers, county deputies and municipal officers will increase their DWI enforcement presence this weekend and next weekend as part of an effort to decrease drunk-driving-related deaths during the Halloween week.

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) Office of Traffic Safety is coordinating the effort. Drivers and party-goers are encouraged to plan a sober mode of transportation home after drinking to avoid the dangers and consequences of a DWI.
