Gun control advocates seek more background checks
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Local mayors, law enforcement, gun owners and victims of gun violence are calling for tighter background checks for gun buyers.
The group gathered Wednesday in Minneapolis as part of a 25-state tour organized by Mayors Against Illegal Guns. They are seeking what they say are common-sense gun laws, including background checks for all gun sales.
