Grant funds available

The city of Kelliher now has grant funds available for housing and businesses within city limits of Kelliher.

The objective of the Housing Incentive Program is to encourage and facilitate home ownership and home construction within the city limits of Kelliher by providing a $5,000 grant to individual(s) who meet the program requirements.

It is designed to be compatible with bank financing and/or first-time homeownership grants, as well as being supplemental to the current incentives offered on the lots in the Pearson Addition.

The objective of the Business Incentive Program is to encourage the acquisition, creation, or expansion of commerce within the city limits of Kelliher by providing a $5,000 grant to individuals or entities who meet the program requirements. It is designed to be compatible with bank financing, city financing, and/or other grant funding.
