May will work with community members in the creation of a mural expressing the diversity of cultures in this region and community members' relationship to the nature that surrounds them.

The public is invited to attend an informational meeting to begin the creation of this community mural from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday at the RailRiver Folk School, 303 Railroad St., Bemidji.

The activity is funded by an R2AC grant through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature and the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
